Uschi Horner

Journalist and media maker with joy, passion and understanding. As a qualified sports economist, I enjoy combining lifestyle trends with business topics in my job. Whether print or online - I love both, just as much as hiking, jogging, swimming and fitness. I am firmly rooted in my home town. Rosenheim, located in a former glacial lake at the foot of the Alps, is where I was born. I moved from there for many years - sometimes within Germany, sometimes to countries near or far. In 2016, I allowed myself a break and traveled around the world in 100 days. For some time now, I've found a new home - and I'm discovering the Rupertiwinkel. I'm usually accompanied by a big black shadow: mixed-breed dog Ginny. I jump into the nearby Waginger See lake with her or explore the mountains between Hochries and Hochfelln. After studying sports economics, I took a roundabout route to journalism and ended up in the lifestyle department. From decoration and fashion to food and travel, sport and hiking as well as animals and training - I really enjoy dealing with these topics. Professionally and privately.

What the mountains are to one person, the sea is to Mike Guest: "My interaction with it has become an integral part of my life. It took me years to really understand how special it is to me." Whether it's New Zealand, Morocco or Ireland, the 42-year-old travels a lot around the world - but doesn't really have a fixed abode.

Arjen Robben, Magdalena Neuner or Felix Neureuther - the photographer and director not only has well-known sports stars in his portfolio, but has always loved nature. A passion that was reinforced by the fact that he sailed around the world for seven years on a 45-foot sailboat at the age of 14.
