On 1 July 2020, Robert Schieferle, previously Deputy Managing Director, will take over as sole Managing Director of Deuter Sport GmbH, replacing Martin Riebel.

Martin Riebel has managed the business of Deuter since 2012. At the same time, he was already responsible for the outdoor division within the Schwan-Stabilo Group. As of July, Riebel will concentrate exclusively on managing the Schwan-Stabilo Outdoor Group (SSO), with a clear focus on further strengthening it in the strategic areas of sustainability, brand attractiveness, international reach and digitalization.

On 1 July 2020, Martin Riebel will thus hand over the sceptre to passionate racing cyclist Robert Schieferle, who began his career at Deuter over 30 years ago.
