Will Weber was educated at the Conservatory for Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt/Main at the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences in Media Production and at the Philips University Marburg and Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt in Philosophy and Economics. Since 1983 he has produced numerous computer games and media products and licensed them for; Walt Disney, Warner, Marvel, Rüssl Records, and many others. Based on his expertise in the media industry, he tries to work with the components: Computer Games, Media Design and Media Culture, to develop profitable products. He has worked with clients such as Coca-Cola, adidas, Rimmel, BMW, Procter&Gamble, Nestlé, BASF, and others. Will Weber was Dean at the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences/Media Campus for many years. He was responsible for more than 15 study programmes; e.g. Expanded Realities (VR and AR), Online Communication, Online Journalism, Motion Pictures, Sound and Music Production, Interactive Media Design, Information Science, Animation and Game Design, Leadership in the Creative Industries (M.A.), International media culture work (M.A.), Media Development (M.A.), Information Science (M.Sc.), etc. The Media department has over 2300 media students, approx. 70 professors and over 200 lecturers and is one of the largest university media institutions in Europe. He is also chairman of the board of gamearea Hessen e.V. and a member of numerous committees: game Bundesverband, Hesssicher Filmpreis, Hessische Medienförderung, Museum für Popkultur (MOMEM) and others).
