Ready for over 600 exhibitors? OutDoor by ISPO from June 04 - 06, 2023 has quite a few highlights in store. From minimalist designs to crazy color plays, from merino to alpaca wool, from hand to foot specialists. We can't wait, so we're already introducing you to the 16 hottest brands that will be part of the event for the first time.

Berghaus

"Make the mountain your playground" is the campaign of the British brand Berghaus. And with their outdoor clothing and equipment, they enable their customers to do just that. For maximum weather protection and comfort, they use waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex materials in many jackets. Not only comfort, but also sustainability is a top priority for the outdoor brand: In 2015, Berghaus was the first British brand to join bluesign® in order to reduce the negative impact of the textile industry on the environment and people.

Brunton

Explorers and adventurers beware: with the navigation gadgets from Brunton you will always find the right direction. With dedication and craftsmanship, the brand conjures up precision compasses and pocket transits to the highest standards. And that already in 1894, when the geologist and engineer D.W. Brunton invented the Pocket Transit compass. The navigation systems are mainly used on difficult terrain or for scientific expeditions. The global needle system in most of Brunton's compasses is particularly pleasing to world travelers, as it enables orientation in both the southern and northern hemispheres.

Eddie Bauer

Whether hiking, climbing, skiing or camping, the US brand Eddie Bauer has been equipping outdoor fans with jackets, shirts, pants, shoes, sleeping bags, tents and backpacks for 120 years. Particularly special are the innovative products and technologies, such as the "Downlight" concept. This uses special sewing techniques for down fillings in jackets and vests to maximize thermal performance.

HESTRA

From cycling to hiking. From classic designs to modern cuts. From leather to wool. At family-owned HESTRA, it's all about hands. Since 80, the company founded by Martin Magnusson has been perfecting the glove game, now in its third and fourth generations. With more than 400 models in its range, HESTRA is optimally equipped for everything and for everyone. The special thing: Everything they make is grown in the high forests of the Swedish province of Småland.

Igloo

A hot summer day in nature, a cool drink can not be missing. Thanks to the coolers from the world market leader Igloo, it doesn't have to. The brand became known for its Playmate coolers, which were launched in 1971 and, thanks to their innovative design, have even made it into the Smithsonian Museum. Igloo is a master of innovation: the first plastic cooler in the 60s, the first cooler on wheels (1994), the first hard-shell coolers made of recycled plastic (2021) and many other cool inventions go to the account of the specialists.

Norrona

The Norwegian outdoor brand Norrona stands for "quality, function, design and sustainability". And it has been incorporating this into its outdoor clothing as well as equipment since 1929, constantly evolving. The brand had one of its technical breakthroughs in 1977 when it produced Europe's first Gore-Tex jacket. In doing so, Norrona focuses on sustainability and therefore founded the initiative "1% For Nature", whereby 1% of the total turnover is allocated annually to promote sustainability.

With more than 45 years of experience, the French company Sidas World is a true foot specialist.
